Grand 2BR between ANU and City

The apartment was mostly comfortable, but it felt post-apocalyptic, a dead building run by robots. Positive: The location was good for this trip. The apartment was spacious, clean. Negative: Shower was leaking, the fake leather lounges are cold to sit on, one of them is too low to the floor. Parking is spacious but like a dungeon. The air conditioner is noisy and does not seem to cope (but that might be because I didnt lower the shades - lots of glass). The worst aspects were the lack of a human being and the several warnings about serious financial consequences if I got anything wrong (and that in turn relates to the lack of human contact). The view at present is mostly construction site for light rail, but that was not very significant.

Positive: It was really central to everything and covered everything we needed. It was spacious and clean and had heaps of the basics provided. Negative: The one thing that was hard to manage was that there was no heating in the smaller bedroom. My daughter was freezing and while there was a small fan heater provided, it made a horrible scraping noise when turned on so I didn’t want to risk having it running. Which made the standard temp of -7 each morning quite unbearable.

Positive: Spacious and location. The host gave very detailed instructions. Negative: As a professional cleaner The property wasn’t cleaned properly all the tables dining room coffee had glass ring marks there was a sticky like patch on the carpet near the sofa. The bathtub had hair in it. The property ran out of hot water when more than two people showered. The host changed the check in time from 3 to 4 despite advertising it on booking.com for 3 pm check in and was told to leave before 10 despite checkout being at 10.

Frustrating Negative: Very dirty carpets,TV,walls,cupboards and bathrooms. Broken equipment dishwasher, facets toilet. Requires deep clean and repairs

Negative: Car park
