Classic 2BR with Modern Touch and Garden

Very pleasant stay in a great location Positive: The house was well located, in a quiet area close by to the Mt Ainslie walking path with good local shops. It was a true two bedroom house and we really appreciated the distinct living and sleeping areas. Check in was seamless, and the house was very clean. The kitchen was also very well stocked - the host provided plenty of kitchenware, dishwashing tablets, and even small things like laundry powder and salt and pepper! Staying in a fully stocked house made our stay so much easier, and was really really appreciated (and the main reason for the good review, since we stayed for nearly a week). Negative: The beds and quality of the sheets and pillows was the biggest let down of our stay. The mattresses were very uncomfortable, and the pillows were quite cheap (like the basic ikea ones) which made sleeping tricky. Instead of doona covers, the ‘two flat sheet’ method was used, which always raises concerns for cleanliness for me (who knows if other guests ensured the sheets stayed in the right place!). If I stay again I’ll consider bringing my own pillows and sheets. There were also a few minor maintenance issues around the house (one hand rail in the bathroom was loose, the back fence hard to open, and the garden desperately needs a good water). However, we would probably stay here again regardless.

Duffy a short cycle to local shops, across from Ainslie tracks Positive: We liked the cleanliness, fresh bedsheets, comfortable beds, the availability of kitchen crockery and cutlery, full size fridge with a nice large size bottle of cold water and an additional water jug, ice cubes ready and milk for our arrival as it was a hot day. The terrace was nice and the back deck. A great location! Negative: The t.v was on the small side.
