Only 10-15min walk to city centre/restaurants, comfy beds, and super nice bathroom and kitchen!

Very happy with the location and the unit itself. Very impressed with the cleanliness. Would stay there again. Positive: Excellent location - spotlessly clean. Negative: Nothing.

Positive: LOVED the location (close to pool, Commonwealth Park for fireworks/Floriade, close to Hijinx Hotel and Kingpin, close to Westfield and close to lots of restaurants). Loved the bed (no body depression) and range of pillows (lots of variety, not just over-stuffed ones that hurt your neck). Lots of extra touches like washing powder, clothes rack, clothes pegs. I have stayed at Midnight Hotel, East Hotel family room in Kingston (3 times), QT, a Geocon building opposite Westfield (plus other locations in Canberra outside the city) and this was my favourite so far due to quietness, convenient location and everything we need e.g. parking, full kitchen. This is my new favourite, above East Hotel. Negative: Staying anywhere in the city will present you with a noise problem. On two nights, drunks were yelling out in the street which echoed around the concrete jungle. Having said that, it was in a very quiet location of the city (not Braddon! Noisy!) and the building was very quiet. I HATE Geocon buildings, which are renowned in Canberra for being poorly built. I have stayed in a Geocon building before with lots of slamming of doors within the building that would wake you up, and a noisy aircon that you couldn't turn off. This building is much better built and was very quiet internally. Getting the keys was easy as it is just downstairs. For some reason my code was deleted and wouldn't work but someone answered the phone quickly to give me a new code and it was resolved.
