Howitt Place Apt minutes to Parliamentary Triangle

Excellent stay, enjoyed the location & accessibility to most stores & restaurants Positive: Location, cleanliness & superb for family Negative: Facilities listed - Swimming pool (one of the reasons for my booking, so that kids can enjoy during holidays, I found out that the pool has not been operational for close to 2 years.

Positive: The unit is a lovely old (25 years+?) unit right in the middle of Kingston (right behind the Supabarn, diagonally opposite Green Square). It is relatively large, with large light windows throughout and a roomy kitchen. The unit is well maintained for its age, quite comfortable and cleanly presented. The complex has a pleasant garden entrance (although the swimming pool is non-functional) but has quite a number of stairs up and down to access the unit itself and the garage. Although we have no complaints about the unit itself, you need to be aware that the kitchen joinery is nearly 30 years old (although the appliances are newer) and the bathroom / laundry is tiny and tired. Negative: Starting to appear a bit tired - apartment and complex. 50 steps from garage to apartment

Great location, clean and tidy, must like stairs. Positive: The apartment was very clean and tidy and had everything you need for a short stay. The bed was comfy and it was a nicely appointed apartment. The directions for access were quite clear and even a you tube video provided for further clarity. Negative: We were very disappointed that the advertised pool was not in use as it was quite hot and was one of the reasons for booking this apartment as we had a grandchild with us who would have loved to be able to have a swim. We need not like how many stairs we had to walk up and down to get to the apartment. It was quite hot on this particular weekend and there was not any a/c or even a ceiling fan in the main bedroom. The TV does not work very well, the grandchild was able to get it working thankfully.

Positive: Very quiet and clean. Was like our own house.

The unit was very comfortable, well appointed and we wanted for nothing, except a lift or a ramp. Negative: The amount of stairs are not good for ageing bodies carrying luggage. We should have checked first to see if there were lifts in the venue.
