Very clean and well set up apartment.

Negative: FOB that controls the lift was dodgy but other tenants say the same thing.

Wonderful place to stay, good hosts and a fair price. Positive: Very clean and sparkly, quality furnishings, linen and appliances, super comfy bed, nice teas & toiletries. Thoughtfully decked out. Close to Art Gallery, parliament, lakeside, cafes, grocers. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and responsive. Negative: Nothing to complain about whatsoever.

Canberra is beautiful in autumn, and this is the place for a couple to stay Positive: Roomy apartment for two, comfortable bed, full kitchen and laundry facilities, good bathroom. Beautiful outlook through big windows to interior communal garden space. Quiet location despite multi-storey, multi block complex. Double glazing. Car park in the basement. Small supermarket and coffee shops across the road, restaurants across the road and nearby at Kingston (1km) and Kingston Foreshore (1.5km), all walkable. Bus stop into town one street over, about every 10 mins and a 14 min ride into town for about $3, and you can just wave your credit card on and off for fares, no special tickets to arrange. 10 min walk to National Gallery, Portrait Gallery, Old/New Parliament House. Negative: Everything about the unit was great. I was a bit surprised to get notification the day before that I didn't have access until 4pm though, 2pm is pretty standard most places. 10am exit on your last day is still expected. You can vary these with extra fees. I got spammed overnight the night before my arrival demanding confirmations despite paying in full well in advance, I'm glad I didn't see the messages until after I got into the accommodation. I expect the booking.com account was hacked, the messages were suspicious at a glance and had links. The owner contacted me as soon as they were aware of the messages and handled it as well as could be expected for this sort of unexpected event.
