Adorable studio nestled in the heart of Flynn

2 very hot days during stay. No ceiling fans and split system airconditioner (only in kitchen) was not operating.Some areas like the kitchen & bathroom were clean but top of kitchen rubbish bin dirty, bedside lights dusty and rug under coffee table needed a good vacuum. There is a step between the bedroom and lounge that is potentially quite dangerous, especially when accessing the bathroom at night.Noise from family upstairs very audible from early morning.A box of tissues in the bathroom and a roll of paper towels in the kitchen would be handy. Host provided neither. When I arrived there was water pooling out from under the fridge that I had to clean up with my bath towel.Overall accommodation was okay but not great. I didn’t like the fact that cleaning items like broom, vacuum, mop, & clothes airers are just on the floor in the kitchen. I would not stay again.

A great base from which to explore all the cool sights of Canberra then coming back to a clean safe and warm place to re Positive: Clean compact with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Best part that it is in a quiet leafy suburb - great for an evening walk after dinner.

I really enjoyed staying here. The apartment is cosy and warm, very well designed and logical in layout with a great use of the available space, providing not only a more than adequate kitchen but also a space to work from home. The features and furnishings bring it all together as a very well presented and most liveable studio.

The flat has everything one would need for an extended stay – I stayed a month – and when something did go wrong (a leaking tap) it was fixed promptly. Yes, there's family noises above, but I have no problem with that, and it's nice to feel there's people around when you're away from home. The bed is very comfortable, and the computer desk is a plus. If I could suggest improvements, I'd add access to a green bin for compost scraps and maybe a 50 IKEA induction hob for quick cooking, as the electric cooktop is pretty slow to heat up. I'd definitely stay there again if it's free next time I'm in town for work.
