Lake view city apartment with free parking!

Good location, but instructions and directions could be better. Positive: I liked the location. I was familiar with the hotel/apartment. I liked that the apartment had everything required, including washer/dryer and dish washer etc. Negative: Collecting the keys was a mission. Why is communication not from a chain of emails rather than a broken chain? It should be a continuous reference. Why should I go on the app when I just want to read the email in its entirety? I think the bed is in an awkward position; if one is unfamiliar with the apartment, to be first confonted by the bed, with so little room to move around to get luggage across, to and from, it can be very difficult. I think the mattress may need to be replaced? I thought at more than one time, I could feel a loose spring.

Great spot and view, needs some curtains for a better sleep. Positive: Great location and nice view, I also think there was a cinema in the NISHI building. Negative: It was so so bright, we couldn’t sleep! There’s no blinds or curtains from the balcony and the light outside the front door was so bright coming through underneath. It was also really really hot mainly at night. We had to pull a fan from the lounge room to bedroom area. The blanket also would clump in one area of the doona making it uneven, but it was too hot to use anyways. Check in also said on booking.com 3pm but after we booked they said it was 4pm, unless we want to pay extra for an earlier checkin. Luckily we ended up being able to checkin at 3:30pm as we had to use the bathroom. There’s also a sharp corner table that my partner cut his leg on, just be wary when walking around it.

Excellent location, needs a better fan in lounge room, great facilities with cinema attached on the ground floor, good parking, pickup instructions for key were a little vague but overall a pleasant experience

This should have been a great experience in one of our fav buildings. Great view but sadly you can’t enjoy it from the balcony because of traffic noise. Quiet inside when doors are tightly shut though. Be aware that the bedroom is at the entry to the apartment and the bed legs stick out reducing the already minimal entry passage to barely 30 cm clear, which means you regularly stub your toes in entering or leaving the unit. We had to sleep with the light on to avoid the bed legs when we got up during the night. Not comfortable! You need to be strong enough to heave packages or luggage over a double bed to get them into the kitchen. Checkout was a nightmare and delayed our departure by 90 mins. You have to go to a locker in a nearby convenience store - which wasn’t open on time. I could go on about problems with the apartment but what was most alienating was that all communication went via some business outside Stayz with an anonymous person - until the end.
